Synopsis: A man trained by a Japanese martial arts master competes in an underground fighting tournament in Hong Kong (The Kumate.)
When it comes to movies that give you just what they promise, Bloodsport finds good company with Freddy vs. Jason, and Wacky Sports Bloopers 7. There isn't really much to be said that isn't implied already. Expect blood in a sport and you will be prepared for pretty much anything this movie can throw your way.
Bloodsport is something that seems to have been pulled from Lee Ermy's scrotum during hormone therapy. It consists of a main plot, the Kumate, and two lesser plots located at the base; the love story between Frank Dux and some chick, and the army officers hunting him down for going AWOL. The plot structure looks something like this on paper.

A deadly Martial art tournament is held every five years in the Hong Kong underground, a
young army man who was trained by a Japanese ninjitsu master enters in order to honor said
master who has recently died childless. He ditches the army to compete. Once entered, Dux
rapidly climbs the brakets until he is matched against against the evil Chong Li in the finals

Notice that the sub-plots are significanlty smaller that the main plot. This could be blamed on the writer's inability to layer the plots in an effective way. Also notice that the right sub-plot is slightly larger than the left sub-plot.
